I call Columbus, Ohio home. It's a humble city, sure, but I like it.

Right now, I'm working as a Senior Designer at Resource Interactive. The group I work with (the "retail studio") concentrates largely on e-commerce experiences for companies like Restoration Hardware, Chicos, Wal-Mart and others. We seem to have a lot of fun.

Before Resource Interactive, I was employed as a Senior Designer at hyperQUAKE, a design firm (in my home town of Cincinnati, Ohio!) focused on interactive work as well as branding and print. At hyperQUAKE I worked with clients including Deloitte, HBO, HGTV, and Warner Bros.

Even before that, I was studying Digital Design at the University of Cincinnati. In 2002, I received a Bachelor of Science in Design.

In kindergarten, wee little Michael was busy making finger paintings and eating paste.

Oh yes – I'm a little bit sarcastic. But it's a friendly sarcasm.

Seriously, my goal is rather simple: do interesting work with great people. While my strengths may fall under the "design" header, I love collaborating with programmers, writers, clients, and just about anyone else to create something we'll all be proud of.
